We are open to any young woodwind and brass players (percussion soon...we're working on it!) who would like to come and play in a wind band. There are
no auditions required, just fill in our membership

Rehearsals
Rehearsals are on Saturday mornings during term-time at the Crabtree Fields Scout HQ in Harpenden.
Harpenden Youth Concert Band - 10.00-11.00
Harpenden Children's Concert Band - 11.15-12.15
Standard
You don't need to have taken a grade to join our bands, just ask your teacher roughly what standard they think you are.
The approximate standards for the two bands are:
HYCB - Grade 3 and above
HCCB - Beginner - Grade 2
Music
We cover a whole range of music from Star Wars to Havana alongside contemporary wind band music. This term we will be working on music from "High School Musical", "The Lion King", "Scorpion!" and "Waterdrops Come Spring".
Costs
Our standard price is £75 for a 10-session term (with two Saturdays off at half-term) although this price varies slightly if we have an additional concert week at the end of term. If you join part-way through a term, we will adjust the price accordingly.
